Bâben ​Art Workshop was established on Kiremit Street, one of the famous cut stone streets of Balat, with a glancing ambiance among the houses where historical monuments survived since the Byzantine period are mixed with innovative breezes. Within this magnificent structure of Baben, we offer a special workshop area reserved for each of our students who attend our trainings. Our teachers Funda K. Demirçin and Hülya Guruhan Küçükali give introductory, advanced and design courses to the art of marbling in their workshops. You can contact us for workshop trainings of two master artists who brought the innovative and modern techniques they developed to the art of marbling.

Ebru masters Funda Köz Demirçin and Hülya Guruhan Küçükali will be presenting traditional techniques such as oversize marbling, combed marbling, shawl marbling, nightingale's nest, wavy marbling as well as flower figures such as tulips, carnations, hyacinths, poppies and daisies in new styles. The special designs they developed and the marbling techniques they disciplined in different ways will also be shown.​

Our workshop will enable each student to start their training by offering the marbling boat, biz and brush sets separately for each student. There is space in our workshop to store materials provided by each student, such as traditional earth-pigmented marbling paints, marbling papers, extra kerajine and flower and battal jars. We are always ready to assist you in reaching the right material.
